A valedictorian of
Pearl City High School, class of 1992; and a 1996 graduate of a Bachelors
of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from
the University of Southern California (USC), where he received a Dean’s
scholarship providing full tuition, room and board during his entire
tenure. At USC, he was a
founding father of the first and only Filipino-American fraternity in
America, Zeta Phi Rho, and currently serves as President of the Honolulu
Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce. After USC, Jeoffrey
began work as a Project Manager for PAMCO Contracting. He then worked as a Structural Engineer at SSFM
International, one of the top engineering firms in the State of Hawaii.
While at SSFM, he attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa for a
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
After SSFM, Jeoffrey worked two years for the Federal Government as
an in-house Structural Engineer for the Navy Public Works.
In total, Jeoffrey brings nearly 10 years worth of Structural and
Civil Engineering experience and knowledge to the firm. Currently, Jeoffrey
has two licenses as a Professional Structural and Civil Engineer.
He is also a Certified Special Inspector for the City and County
of Honolulu and is also a PADI certified scuba diver.
His primary
focus is on residential design, but has experience in various structural
design work in commercial and industrial facilities, such as piers, bridges, and low-rise buildings, not only in the U.S.,
but also in various countries such as in American Samoa, Palau, and Guam. Professional
organizations that Jeoffrey belongs to are: American Society of
Civil Engineers (ASCE) Structural Engineers
Association of Hawaii (SEAOH) Filipino American
League of Architects and Engineers (FALEA)
